Get your store ready

Most owners finish these steps in about 15 minutes. Your store goes live within 24 hours of your ZapUPI account being activated, and your 7-day free trial starts then.

   Get a UPI merchant app

   ZapUPI receives payments through a "cashier app" that you connect to it. A business (merchant) app works best:

   • Paytm Business
   • PhonePe Business
   • BharatPe Business
   • Google Pay Business
   • QuintusPay

   Keep your Merchant ID and merchant UPI ID handy for step 2. In Paytm Business, you'll find them under Profile → Business details.

   ZapUPI also supports some wallet and bank apps (Amazon Pay, MobiKwik, FreeCharge, FamApp, Slice UPI), but a merchant app is recommended.

   Set up ZapUPI

   • Sign up for ZapUPI with referral code ZAPKLL3XMS4A.
   • Connect your cashier app using your Merchant ID and merchant UPI ID. This is the important part.
   • Copy your API key from panel.zapupi.com/api-keys.
   • KYC is quick (Aadhaar OTP) and can be completed later. We recommend finishing it early so payments are never held up.

   Create your bot (2 minutes)

   1. Open @BotFather in Telegram and send /newbot.
   2. Choose a display name, e.g. PresetHub Store.
   3. Choose a username ending in bot, e.g. PresetHubStoreBot.
   4. Copy the token BotFather gives you. Keep it private; you can regenerate it any time.
   5. Optional: set a profile picture and description with /setuserpic and /setdescription.

   Send us your details

   Message @tele_bot_creator on Telegram with:

   • Your bot token (from step 3)
   • Your ZapUPI API key (from step 2)
   • Your Telegram user ID: send any message to @userinfobot to see it. This makes you the store admin.
   • The plan you want, or "free trial"
   • Pro and Advanced: your welcome message and branding line, if you want custom ones

   We set up your store

   • Your store goes live within 24 hours of your ZapUPI account being activated.
   • We send you a webhook URL to paste into your ZapUPI dashboard, so payments are confirmed instantly.
   • Add your products with /admin in your bot, then share your bot link with your channel. Your free trial starts once the store is live.

Common questions

Can you collect payments for me instead?

No. Payments always go straight to your own account, which keeps your money safe and in your control. If you don't have a merchant app yet, we're happy to help you set one up with ZapUPI.

Is it safe to share my bot token?

Yes. You create and own the bot; we only host it. You can revoke or regenerate the token in @BotFather at any time.
